What a stunning start to our 2016/17 wedding season!!
We have had about 6 weddings since the middle of september, all are completely different in their own right!
Some are traditional, some are bohemian inspired, some are in between.
We average about 35 or so weddings a year ( 8 months of a year), which keeps us pretty busy!
Cant wait to show you what summer 16' has in store for our gorgeous brides and grooms! We have some Expos coming up soon too- so keep an eye out on our facebook page for more updates!
We are still here!
Just been very very busy, and we went on holidays throughout august
We have a discount on for new bookings- 10% off, terms and conditions do apply- check our facebook page for more info!
So our holiday was to new zealand, i highly recommend going over there to anyone- we did half the time on Contiki, which was equally as amazing
Plus i got to see snow! and watch my best friend jump off a perfectly good cliff!!
Ill share some photos for you!
We start up again in about a week and a half for our wedding season, with 14 weddings on until the end of November, we also work part time too- so we are VERY busy.
Keep an eye out on our facebook page ( www.facebook.com/sweetpeaflorist13 ) for more up to date posts
Sorry we haven't been online much lately.
We had a fantastic end to 2015 in November and December- Photos attached.
Our brides are still in love with the vintage/rustic feel for their weddings, and i don't blame them, all of them have had different ideas for flowers and styling and i LOVE it.
The Beginning of 2016 wasn't to good, we had a death in the family, and 3 months on we are still trying to deal with that. We had 2 bookings for January and Feb, which worked out good so i could spend time with family.
Come March and April- We are fully booked!
This weekend we have 2 weddings on, one rustic/vintage and one more classical- ill post photos when i can.
We also became apart of Lets Get Hitched WA, which involves a range of vendors that provide the best items and prices to brides in Perth.
Megs and Gareth booked me for their wedding just under a year before the actual date.
This was to be a very special wedding for them both, Megs wanted to include her mum and nannas favourite flowers as they are no longer with us, So we incorporated Tulips and Fressias into her bouquet as well as adding on some gorgeous framed photos on the stems.
The bridesmaids had baby breath posies.
Their wedding was held at yanchep national park ( my all time favourite) on the lawn by the lake under the gorgeous willow trees, then followed by a full on floral decorated cave!
I had so much fun doing this wedding set up, Gareth and Megs are great people as are their family and friends ( they even let me hide and watch some of the ceremony- which never happens! hehe)

We are so in love with the colours Roberta chose for her flowers.
Bright and colourful!!! Our favorite! Their main colours were black and white with a pop of colour from the flowers!
Roberta's Sister made an upside down HANGING cake, Unfortunately it was not ready when i left the venue so i couldn't get a photo!
All fresh flowers by us- aisle flowers, bridal flowers, table jar flowers scattered throughout venue including the board walk, and cake flowers.

We travelled to Kalamunda to deliver Jessicas wedding- which was vintage with a twist.... red roses sprayed black, with baby breath to frame and black leaves.
Her maids had baby breath
On Sunday we took a very long but gorgeous drive to Bunbury to spend the day seeing Natalia and Lachlan for their wedding- Set up and styled in Lachlans parents house.
Mix of lissianthus, David Austin roses, baby breath, cream roses, dusty miller etc for a elegant vintage feel. Some brooches made their way into Natalias bouquet aswell.
We provided items to style the house- petal aisle, bar table, cake table, wishing well table, chairs for ceremony (which converted into table flowers for reception)
Today we had 2 gorgeous Vintage (yes again) weddings on this very gloomy weekday- it was pooring with rain.
Faye had a gorgeous blue and white theme- tables were set up at Indiana Tea house, styled with flowers by us. Photographer was the awesome Pamela from Aubrey Strawberry.
Amanda had a lovely all white mix of carnations baby breath and roses. Married her beau at joondalup resort.
Vintage is so totally in right now.
Another vintage style wedding. This time with gorgeous David Austin roses... now we had a problem getting these in from Kenya- they were meant to be pale pink But due to problems we decided to go with the pink/peach colour mixed with white. and boy were they amazing!!!
The maids carried baby breath bunches, and Flower girls had a mix!
Thanks for been such an easy going bride Brodie!
Another Vintage style wedding.
Flowers were carnations and roses. in cream white and pale pinks
Ceremony at Iluka, reception followed at the Breakwater
Theres nothing better than an overcast day and a BIG wedding!
Today Courtney marries her love.... along with her SEVEN bridesmaids!! Yes i said seven.
The theme and feel for her flowers were bohemian/gypsy style... white lemons, orange and whites. Long hanging ribbons in gold.
We cant wait to see photos of the day- by Pamela at Aubrey Strawberry- one of our main photographers!
We also provided buttonholes and hair flowers for Courtney!
Last night was a special day for everyone. I have know these two people for 10 years (Pete for more). They are always so loved up, Caring for everyone around them before themselves.
We finally got to see Pete and Britt get married, watched on by their family and friends. Love was in the air that's for sure.
We supplied Britt with her wedding bouquets for the bridal party and the buttonholes for the boys, Mums and dads. We arrived at blue water grill where the ceremony was held outside under the huge tree looking out over the Swan River. Then it was followed by cocktail style reception (which included the 7 cakes- yes i said 7!!!)
Food and cakes were to die for! And Britt looked absolutely stunning in her dress ( as if she walked straight out of downton abbey) Simply gorgeous!
What a gorgeous day it was to be married outside.
Debi chose blue and purple as her colours for the flowers. Ceremony and reception was at Yanchep National Park- one of our fav spots!
